Day 1: Cochin to Munnar
Arrival at Cochin airport/ railway station, meet and assistance. Transfer to Munnar. Munnar is 1800 mts above sea level and also the place of South India’s highest peak (Anamudi – 2695 mts). On the way visit Valara, On the way, visit Valara and Cheeyappara waterfalls; both of these are seasonal attractions, along with tea plantations. On arrival at Munnar, transfer to the Hotel. Check in at hotel. overnight at the hotel.
Day 2: Munnar
Morning after breakfast full day visit to Munnar. Mattupetty dam, Echo Point, Kundala Dam, Pothamedu View Point, Blossom Park etc are some of the highlights of the sightseeing. Shopping & overnight at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 3: Munnar to Alleppey
After breakfast checkout from Hotel and drive to Alleppey, on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Alleppey. An important backwater destination attracting thousands of tourists every year, who come all the way to enjoy Alleppey for what it offers. Referred to as the Venice of the East, the place is home to diverse animal and bird life. Alleppey is also famous for its beaches, marine products, coir industry and boat races. A singularity of this land is the region called Kuttanad land of lush paddy fields referred to as the rice bowl of Kerala and one of the few places in the world where farming is done below sea level. Sightseeing in Alleppey: Vembanad Lake, Alleppey Beach.
Day 4: Alleppey to Kovalam
After breakfast checkout from hotel / Houseboat (As per your stay )and drive to Kovalam, on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for local Sightseeing (if time permits) else day at leisure or own activities and overnight stay at Kovalam.Kovalam is an internationally renowned beach with three adjacent crescent beaches. It has been a favourite haunt of tourists, especially Europeans, since the 1930s. A massive rocky promontory on the beach has created a beautiful bay of calm waters ideal for sea bathing. The leisure options at this beach are plenty and diverse-sunbathing, swimming, herbal body toning massages, special cultural programmes, Catamaran cruising etc. Sightseeing : Padmanabha Swami Temple, Kuthira Maligai Palace, Zoo, Art Gallery (All places close on Monday except Padmanabha Swami Temple).
Day 5: Kovalam to Kanyakumari Daytrip
After early breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari. Proceed for local sightseeing tour in the afternoon. Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and represents the site where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast. Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhidham and Trivenisangam are some of the sightseeing attractions in Kanyakumari. Enjoy the sunset in the evening and return to Kovalam overnight stay is arranged at kovalam.
Day 6: Kovalam to Trivandrum
Check out from the hotel and drive to Trivandrum Airport / Railway Station for departure.
